Pip
Meet Pip (aka Pipsqueak- because he does squeak!). Born around August 2012 Pip is the smallest syrian we have. He has a very cute dusty white splodge on one hip, white socks on his front legs, and a white stripe starting at his chin and curling around one of his front legs.
He was rescued from a family who had bought him for their young daughter, who had quickly grown bored. They decided it wasn't fair on him to not be played with and put him up for adoption. On arrival at the house to collect him he was also surrounded by upward of 8 cats and a very yappy terrier!!
He was a bit nervous at first, but once he'd realised he wasn't going to be attacked by any cats he soon settled down. The cage he came in is a really good size and was full of toys! I actually had to take some out! He is a real sweetie and very good tempered, although turns into a boy racer in his exercise ball!!
After having him for several months, the iMAC Fantasy cage he was in wasn't working for me, even though we made it smaller by taking out the second yellow level. He loved the blue pod that then appeared and barely moved from it, but it was much harder to keep clean and was really difficult to travel with when we moved back home for the holidays.
So he is now in a bin cage like the rest of the lads, which is much easier to clean, has lots of floor space for toys, stacks for travelling and also stacks one atop another for storage.
He's still a little sweetie and has the most photogenic baby face!
